Dynamic Floor Barre
This dynamic exercise class is based on movements and techniques of ballet training in standing, seated, and prone positions. The combined elements of ballet, pilates, and yoga forms a challenging workout which stretches and strengthens the muscles. This class will work your body in an efficient way with the aim of toning, increasing flexibility, and alignment awareness while developing coordination and muscle control. Focus will be on targeting muscle groups around the legs, arms and core. This barre class, without the barre, is suitable for all levels of motivated students. Set to some fun, upbeat music (think Hip Hop, R&B, Motown, and Old School Rap), the different sequences will give you a strong workout through constant flow and variety of movements.
Hatha Flow Yoga
Hatha Flow is a class based on a balance of movement and stillness, strength, grace, and grounding. The class will start with a warm up followed by a series of standing postures, core strengtheners and hip openers and will finish with a deep relaxation. Focus is kept on the breath throughout the flow of postures helping you to find your centre and go deeper into your body.
Kundalini is the ancient practice of balancing the Chakras by directly Universal energy in the body through dynamic movement, chanting, breathing exercises, and meditation.
Kundalini Yoga is based on Shakti and Tantra schools of Hinduism and is known as the "Yoga of Awareness" as its goal is to cultivate the full potential of a human to uphold values, speak truth, focus on compassion and consciousness needed to serve and heal others.
The practice of Kundalini Yoga is designed to raise complete body awareness to prepare the nervous system and mind to handle the Kundalini energy. The majority of the physical postures focus on the navel centre, activation of the spine and pressure points.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Flow links the traditional yoga asanas / postures together into a harmonious flow of transitioning positions while giving focus to active meditation. It is dynamic yet soft in nature, and relaxation is often reserved to the end of the session. The sequence of postures will vary from class to class, building on the fluid transitions of core asanas to develop strength, flexibility, balance and focus.
