300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training
Yoga Alliance Registered
Upcoming Dates in Paris:
November 5th - February 5th
12 weekends -
(2 weeks break for Christmas
and New Years holidays)
This is an advanced Hatha & Vinyasa Teacher training course, specifically based in Kundalini (planetary and elemental yoga), Iyengar (alignment-based using props), and Ashtanga. You will take a deep dive into the world of facilitating guided meditations, visualization, and sacred ceremonies, somatic experiencing (Psysoma Yoga – talk vs. movement therapy), and modern yoga philosophy. The psychological principles of behavioral therapy (healing trauma, inner child play, shadow work, emotional intelligence), physiology based on the neuroendocrine (hormone regulation, metabolism) and the lymphatic (immunity) system, and holistic healing practices (Ayurveda (diagnostics), acupressure, massage, aromatherapy, cupping, etc.) will also be studied.
It will be requirement that you create a 2-hour workshop as part of your practical examination at the end of the training. This workshop will be a culmination of the principles studied during the advanced training, your teaching practice, and a thesis based on a topic of your choice.
Our wish is to give you as many tools as we can to help continue the transformational journey of knowledge, competence, and confidence as a teacher and lightworker. Our world is evolving quickly and people need yoga and wellness more than ever – we are in a booming market! Learn how to create a deeper bond with your students and keep them coming back for more and feel the satisfaction of knowing that you are part of the shift into healing our local and global community.
Prerequisites for our training:
You must have successfully completed a 200 Hour YTT to participate in the 300 Hour YTT. This does not need to be with Transformational Yoga, but if you wish to be recognized by Yoga Alliance as a 500 RYT after completion, your previous training must be a Yoga Alliance RYS.
We do NOT expect you to be a "super" yogi and be able to do perfect headstands and hold plank for 10 minutes. This is a training program and as you probably already know, yoga is about practice, not perfection. The training will teach you about all elements of teaching asana and more. You are here to grow and learn how to teach others safely. This is the CORE belief of Transformational Yoga.
What we do wish to see, is that you are dedicated to your teaching practice, and that you have a desire to learn more and a passion to want to deepen your understanding of all that is Yoga, but also of yourself.
During the training, you will be required to practice teaching a minimum of 20 hours of Yoga in addition to the training sessions (this can include online classes at home and practice in different schools and studios). This is important to ensure that you continue to create a disciplined teaching practice, and that you hone your method.
